As I reported back on TSG at the end of March, perennial number one Japanese golfer Katayama Shingo has moved from his long time sponsor Nike to ONOFF golf. He will also be wearing all new ASICS golf shoes and Dance with Dragon Clothing.  His new ball will be the Titleist Pro V1x. Check out his new gear this week at the Masters in Augusta!

Heres a look at the new ASICS Golf Shoe that Katayama Shingo will endorse and wear. They look very cool!

Apr 12th: Just a quick update and edit to this post. Asics Japan has said that Shingo Katayama's shoes at the Masters were prototypes only and not going retail in the near future. There are plans to release this shoe retail but not for some time. Tourspecgolf will have them when they do go retail eventually.

DWD Headcovers make the bag look nice ^^

I love my Dance with Dragon Caddy bag. It looks so great and just screams style. Problem was my orange Kuma-ku headcover just didn't look quite right with the bag so I grabbed some new headcovers to match. The Epon driver cover is Black and Gold so I got White and Gold covers for my SYB 3 Wood and new TM Vsteel 7 Wood (more on that later), a White and Black DWD cover for my Geotech 9 Wood and a Black and White DWD cover for my Tourstage ViQ Utility.

I also grabed a nice fabric Gold's Factory Warabe putter cover for my Tour Proto. All in all the bag looks very good now with its new found style! I just need to get some new iron covers now as the old Tourstage ones just don't match, especially since I'm playing Epon. Just need to find those very scarce Epon Golf iron

New Dance with Dragon Caddy Bag

I used my Paradiso Maruyama 23 caddy bag to transport my clubs from Canada to Japan and the bag took quite a beating. It was an older model though it still looked great it was time to be replaced. I've long wanted a Dance with Dragon caddy bag. Dragons are cool, and don't we all want to dance with one? Okay I don't know about dancing but the bags do look cool.

DWD has long been one of the premier boutique style golf clothing and accessories brands in Japan. There stuff is premium quality and priced that way. Their fan following is cult like and customers buy up their products FAST. Most popular items sell out withing a week of release. DWD doesn't mass produce items so they are always very limited.  As a matter of a fact, this Final Athlete bag I got is sold out though DWD retailers in Japan, I had to go through other channels to get this color.

Workmanship is amazing as is always the design. I will be getting some headcovers to match!
