So as you may have seen in my what's in the bag, I've added a putter from Gold's Factory. I'd have to say it's about time and I actually regret waiting so long. It's hands down the best putter I've ever used and I've tried them all, Scotty, Bettinardi, Slighter, C&L, Gauge Design, G-field etc etc but nothing touches my new Hearts Tour Proto when it comes to feel and workmanship. At one point in time I had 20+ putters in my collection... it's now down to one, my teflon black beauty hand crafted by the Master, M. Sasaya at Gold's Factory. The hand picked premium carbon steel head features 2 x 12mm tungsten in the face and 2 x 12mm tungsten in the sole. The face also features Sasaya's Premium Zone face milling, where he mills the face with similar grooves to the every popular G-Field Premium Zone putter insert. This creates a super soft feel with instant roll. With the Tungsten inserts the head weights a super 365g. I've got a Mamiya Frequency Filtered shaft with a Balance Certified weight in the butt to even things out and a custom Red Iomic grip with black Iomic logo. The heavy weight really allows me to put a controlled stroke on the ball and stay aligned to the hole. I'm glad I got my Gold's and I'm considering a secone one now. When I first got it, it looked so good I was afraid to put it in play but I'm glad I did and now I know why so many consider Gold's the premium putter in Japanese Golf.
