GDO has released their latest video previews featuring the 2008 Yamaha Inpres X drivers and Irons. Overall the clubs all left a positive impression on Kanetani pro. He particulary pointed out the great feel of the compact new V Forged Tour model, as he was impressed with it's pinpoint accuracy and spin control. He also said overall the new Yamaha iron lineup was very good, with the D Black bringing back the fun in golf for higher handicappers with it's ultra forgiveness and smooth feel. On the driver side, Kanetani showed us the deep faced 4.6V which is essentially a tour model made for agressive higher speed swingers. A deep square faced driver made for workability and distance. He was very impressed with the new 4.6D drivers, the regular 4.6D made for a draw and the 4.6D Type S with it's square face. He liked the forgiveness and distance and explained they are very easy to hit with their shallow faces and large sweet spots.
