cl1.jpgI've had the pleasure in the past of dealing with Chip Usher, a great guy and very knowledgable club maker of more than 17 years. He mentioned to me a few months back that he and his friend Lee were starting up a custom putter company 350milled.com or C&L (Chip and Lee). I got in touch with them about making a putter for Inpakuto as you all know how crazy I am about putters. One piece milled carbon steel putters for optimal feel and roll, standard 350g headweight and custom stampings and finish to your own specs. I'm a big believer in 350g headweights and custom finishes and stampings. It's what makes a putter unique and personal. So yesterday I dropped Lee and Chip an email with an image of what I'd like done and this morning Chip already emailed me with the stampings done on a raw 354g head!

Needless to say I'm excited. I've gone with Black Oxide and red and white paintfill. I thought of 3x black but I had a Byron that was 3x black in the past and wasn't thrilled about the way it would scuff so easily. Stay tuned for more updates.
