So I got a Big Moss Putting Green, the General they call it, a 6x12 feet synthetic putting green. It came with the ultimate short game package which included a 3x3 chipping mat and two snake breaks (long foam strips you place under the big moss to create breaks). While the roll is not the fastest, it is reasonable for practicing putts around 10 feet and under. Best of all, there is no installation and it is totally portable, rolls up or out in a few seconds. I've been putting daily with it since the beginning of this week and it's fun. I'll at least be able to do some golf through this winter!
I took some basic video with my digicam to show the ball roll and a bit of the break.
The first putt is set with snake break placed under left side, creating a subtle break left to right when putting for the center hole almost straight on:
The second video shows the snake break placed under still left side, creating more pronounced break left to right when putting for the center hole this time from the left side (okay, so I missed the first putt here...^^):
The third video still has the snake break placed under left side, creating a sharp break left to right when putting for the left hole hole from the left side:
