Golf Gear and many other magazines have begun testing the new Tourstage X-Drive 2007. The biggest question from potential buyers has been, "Which of the 5 models of X-Drive is for me?" Well Jun Kato from Golf Gear has taken the time to hit all 5 clubs on an Accusport Launch monitor to give people an idea on the flight characteristics of each driver. He used 9.5* lofts on all the drivers and the stock XD-60 shaft, a stiff 66 gram shaft on all the drivers except for the Limited edition 460P which comes with the X-Flex B03-07 Prototype which weighed in at 70g. The X-Drive is already being played by Tourstage pros and will be available retail at the end of December. You can pre-order an X-Drive now at TourSpecGolf .
Please note that this info is for flight characteristics reference only and NOT to be used to get an idea on how each driver will perform distance wise. There are slight variations in head speed that affect final distance results.

Total Distance: 264.2 Yards
Comment:Highest launch angle of the bunch. Much less backspin than it's 430 brother. Started out 2.7* right and ended up 1.6 yardsright of center. Was pretty straight but test data after this one shows the 430P does fade.
New X-Drive 460

Comment: Lowest launch angle of the bunch went 4.1 degrees right
off the tee but came back in to 1.9yards right of center. Tough it ended up right of center it's flight pattern was pretty much a draw as Tourstage lists.
