So for my father in laws birthday I got tickets to the opening ceremony and opening game of the World Baseball Classic back on Thursday. Japan opened its defense of the title it won back in 2006 with a 4-0 win against an improving China team. We had real great seats, 7 rows behind the Japanese dugout. This always helps win bonus points with the Japanese father in law. Baseball and nama beer. We also had the typical bento box sold over at Tokyo dome, a chicken bento for my father in law and a pork katsu bento for me. The atmosphere was great and much better than going to see a regular league game as this was more like watching an all star game of Japan's best players. Didn't take any beer girl pics this time around as they were just not up to the standard of the girls from Chiba Marine Statium. (^_^)
