Hand Made Soba in Togane Print E-mail

We found a nice little teuchi (hand made) soba shop right by Togane Stagion called 手打蕎麦 逸香. As always we found the restaurant on Tabelog. Its a bit on the pricier side compared to other soba restaurants but the soba is very good. Firm and fresh with no floury taste that can sometime be associated with teuchi. We had tenzaru (tempura) and kamo sero (duck). Both were very delicious but what really blew me away was the dessert they had (which I forgot to take a picture of since I ate it so fast). They had warabimochi, a jelly-like confection made from bracken starch and covered or dipped in kinako. Simply delicious!
